Detailed cruise program
  • Day 1:

    Amsterdam / Netherlands

Amsterdam is the capital city and most populous municipality of the Netherlands. Amsterdam has a population of 851,373 within the city proper, 1,351,587 in the urban area] and 2,410,960 in the metropolitan area. The city is located in the province of North Holland in the west of the country but is not its capital, which is Haarlem. The metropolitan area comprises much of the northern part of the Randstad, one of the larger conurbations in Europe, with a population of approximately 8 million.

  • Day 3: 04:30-14:30

    Arnhem / Netherlands

The city of Arnhem boasts an incredibly rich historical past. Today, numerous "reminders" of it remain: ancient monuments and old buildings. In Arnhem, you can visit the fort of Sabelspoort, which, by some miracle, has survived through the centuries. The fort stands on the site of an old fortress that witnessed many battles. After the citizens cleared the area for new construction, magnificent palaces and numerous parks were built here, adding beauty to the city.

Arnhem is home to many historical landmarks from the Second World War, including the John Frost Bridge, the site of important military operations. Although it was completely destroyed, it was rebuilt in 1950. Next to the bridge, a memorial plaque has been installed to honor the soldiers. Every year, the city celebrates the anniversary of the military operation "Market Garden." There are still many more beautiful places in Arnhem worth visiting, should you have the good fortune to explore this charming city.

  • Day 4: 03:00-13:00

    Duisburg / Germany

At the confluence of the Rhine and Ruhr lies Duisburg, a city that blends industrial heritage with remarkable cultural transformation. Here, the world’s largest inland port sits alongside cozy promenades, green parks, and modern art spaces. Once the heart of coal and steel production, this German city now impresses visitors with its museums, theatres, and unique architectural gems like the Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord, built on the site of a former steelworks. Duisburg is perfect for those who want to witness how industrial roots can evolve into a vibrant cultural landscape. Visitors can take a boat ride through the port canals, explore the old Innenhafen district with its trendy restaurants and galleries, or relax by the Sechs-Seen-Platte lakes. The city offers a unique experience — not just industrial history, but a powerful story of transformation.

    Basel / Switzerland

Basel is a city in northwestern Switzerland on the river Rhine. Basel is Switzerland's third-most-populous city (after Zürich and Geneva) with about 180,000 inhabitants.

Located where the Swiss, French and German borders meet, Basel also has suburbs in France and Germany. As of 2016, the Swiss Basel agglomeration was the third largest in Switzerland with a population of 541,000[4] in 74 municipalities in Switzerland (municipal count as of 2018). The initiative Trinational Eurodistrict Basel (TEB) of 62 suburban communes including municipalities in neighboring countries, counted 829,000 inhabitants in 2007.

The official language of Basel is (the Swiss variety of Standard) German, but the main spoken language is the local Basel German dialect.
